Progress on the Saxons

My desk - with attractive afternoon sun on the trees view.

After a bit of a painting frenzy I’ve almost got my Middle Anglo Saxons painted, at least for now. Three cavalry figures remain. First I’ve got to apply washes to and base the infantry and the camp, which is made up of a Baueda ‘Geteld’ tent, a Donnington Miniatures cauldron and cook, a boy with a pot of water (not sure where he’s from), and a Magister Militum old man leaning on his spear.

The Saxon camp - I really like the Donnington cauldron
